inconsistancy of Larry's Oswego Salmon Shop

 ???why is he never open to sell us bait ???Off of me alone he would make enough to stay open these winter months let alone that hard water guru Billy B. Anyone know if leto island in oswego distributes bait.

well i wont speak for larry, cuz i know he is reading this and will respond if he wants to.  i couldent buy bait off him anyway.....he wouldent be open early enough. i know he loves to ice fish, and im  sure he knows where his bread is buttered. that place is almost a licence to print money 4 months a year

Had an incident at Marion Manor bait shop this week - buddy of mine got there 15-20min. before posted closing hours, saw the older gentleman inside, knocked on the window and asked if he could get a few minnows....fella said nope, decided to close early.

Bad business ethics - in retail, you post the open hours of the business and that's what they are, whether or not you feel like going home early    He made a 15 min. trip (one way) only to find out "no deal" and lost a good hour and a half of an evening's fishing going back to Cicero for bait.

then why does larry have ice stuff in his salmon shop? it aint all roses in the fishing business. i talked to larry and he said next year he may not be opened for the ice fishing season . all businesses suffer when there is no customers but they know that not every day will they make a profit let alone break even.
