why bother?  stopped counting at 100 trucks on the ice last weekend, and it wasnt anywhere near all of them.  That lake is getting destroyed.

Just left the ice caught a few good perch. Had a hard time keeping the walleye off the hook.
But your right it looked like a walmart parking lot out there today

Next guy that came on lake , decided to set up also 50 ft from me ,and so on.
By noon I counted 25 trucks around me not counting the two sleds
I should of packed up and moved .  It was non stop listening to ice augers and no where to piss....if you know what I mean ! ha ha !
Fishing was slow but did meet a few great guys in the great weather we had.

two years ago i would be the only vehicle on the lake.

last year there was a handful of guys.

This year its a zoo.  Any fishery, perch or not, can not be sustained like this.

Thing is some dont just do it once in a while. Some it is every day.
I'm sure their freezer is over the limit.

Agree.  There are several freezer filling anglers on Pigeon lake right now.  They are out there all the time - one guy told me 5 days a week.  I need to write down some license plates and call them in.  They will be legal on the ice but not legal in the freezer.  I figure by giving the license plate and explaining what is happening that F&W can get the proper paper work to check the home freezer.  That is where the crime is waiting to be found for some of these "anglers".   I used to turn the other cheek but I'm getting sick of how many are doing it and admitting it.

Was out there Saturday and your comments reflect what I have witnessed as well. Pressure has gone up substantially on the lake.

I'm with you SNAP, I used to shrug my shoulder and figure what the hell, its not a big deal, but lately, ive been making phone calls, taking names and plates, and contacting Fish and Wildlife and RAP.  Watching people use bait on bait ban lakes, taking more than their limit, undersize or oversized fish, reusing tags, etc.  Fish and Wildlife can not be everywhere, and unfortunately it is up to the general public to help them out.  Our fisheries and the future of sport fishing in our province requires everyone to follow the laws.

Substantially is an understatement.  Its simply not sustainable.  Oh well, they'll clear it out and move on to the next one.
