Ice Fishing Sled selection ?
« on: Jan 11, 2018, 06:56 AM »
Howdy Gents!

Is there any place in CT that has a selection of different size ice fishing sleds currently in inventory? Really looking for something in the 50" to 60ish " size.  Please let me know where and what you are seeing.

Thank you in advance! DD  ;D

If you are looking for something that size, make sure you get the tow harness or make one if you aren't using a machine to tow it

Agree with that, or a good smitty sled. The big ones are tough to pull in any kind of snow.

I like to buy a cheap tree stand harness and use that.

I use a old tree climbing harness. Most climbers update their gear often. Ask around. What I like is the Velcro and D ring in the middle of your back!

Just to save guys a trip to the Canton Dick's, I bought the only XL sled about 2 weeks ago. They may have gotten more since, but I'd call first.
They have a few smaller ones left though.
