Well, we put in just shy of 12 straight hours on the ice today. Fished out of my clan nanook basically the entire time and WOW is my back shot. The seats in that damn thing are god awful. Anyone have the same one and found a way to make it more bearable?!

Replace the seat with a swivel boat seat.......much better!!

I agree with Sean . I have shappell fx200 with a bench and I took a boat seat and swivel adjustable clamp it's comfy!!! Sit all day not pain.

push the  bench all the  way  back  put  a  6  or 7 gallon bucket in there and  sit  all day

Swivel seat is way to go.  They fold down for transport, or just take it off bench.  I have one for a Shappell F-100 and it is really an improvement over bench.  Adds a little weight to sled, but worth it.  Your back will thank you for doing this.

You can stadium seats that fold down or detachable canoe seats.
