bait shops in vermont

Looking for bait shops in Vermont. I;m located in Burlington but fish in the Islands region mainly, sometimes south of BTV too. Thanks. Preferably oopen in the mornings.

Bills Bait in Grand Isle is always a good bet.  I always like to go to Holiday Harbor if I'm up that far.  The only problem with Ace on Mallets Bay is that they open very late.  I prefer to be at the bait shop waiting for them open at 6.

Holiday Harbors, Bills or Hog Island are all up there. Dockside is a good bet too

If you're going into the islands from Burlington, Dockside is the most convenient place. It's right on your way, and before you get to any spots so you don't have to back track. He opens at 5, but if you call the day before he can open up at 4. Going south it becomes tricky because you have to go out of the way for any bait shops.

I always stop at Dockside on my way up to the islands. They have everything you could possibly need, highly recommend!

I've just about given up on minnows in this state.

Seldom can I plan ahead enough that I can buy them and get proper use of them. It just isn't in the cards.
