Clam drill plate

Hey guys I just ordered a k-drill for my drill plate and noticed they have an adapter available am I going to need this or will the k-drill just hook right up

Yes, you’ll need the Clam Plate to K-Drill adapter.  The K-Drill is designed to be chucked directly into a drill.

there is two versions of the adapter that will allow you to hook a Kdrill to a Clam Plate. If you have a newer Clam Plate I would use the one from Clam. if you happen to have a gen 1 Clam Plate then you will want to use the one from Vexilar.

the first is the one is the one directly from Vexilar (old style). with this one it goes over the shaft where you would hook the drill on directly to the Kdrill.

with the adapter you can buy from Clam you need to remove the adapter on the Kdrill where you hook the drill on directly. this will then allow you to slide the Clam adapter in place of it. once installed then you can hook directly to the Clam Plate.
