Does an out of state 4 wheeler need an orv sticker to be on the ice. Also do u have to wear helmets. Been looking it up and can't really make sense of it.one more thing is do u have to have a solid tow bar. Just read u do and two more posts u don't.  Thanks. Mark

Need helmet for sure, unless a side by side. I think what is legal in your state is sufficient, but don’t quote me on that. We have to have a orv sticker as Michigan residents

Helmet - yes, ORV sticker - yes, solid tow bar - you're supposed to but I'm not sure how often it gets enforced because you'll see plenty of people towing by the rope.

You will need a Sportsman card that cost a buck and a ORV sticker that is 26.95 to operate a atv or side by side on the ice in Michigan. All this can be bought at Walmart in Michigan.
