Skinzit fish cleaner

Does anyone have one or use it? Have been debating on getting one.......thinking it would only be worth it if a guy was doing a bunch of panfish.

i am still on the fence about it.  i saw it in action up at the ice fishing expo in st paul last year and am pretty sure i can dress a fish start to finish just as fast as that thing can but most of the time have a gaggle of people to help clean fish in the winter time.  if you are by yourself i think it might be more work but then again i bet if you gave it a go you could get in a groove and get after it.  if you get one i m in to catch a bucket full of gills and put it thru its paces first hand!!!!

Not faster but sometimes get more meat. One of my friends bought one. I didn't like it because i fillet around the ribs. Pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it so if you can get the wife or kids to help might be worth it.

Buddy has one, hated it at first because he wasn't using it right but after using it the right way he loves it. He got it as a gift and said he probably wouldn't buy it for himself. I have an american angler electric knife and can go toe to toe with is skinzit. I cut the whole fillet out then trim the ribs when filleting, I know a lot of people don't like to doing that but i feel i takes more time the tediously cut and leave the ribs whole. if I got a skinzit as a gift i would sure use it though, haha.

It would also be one more thing you have to wash and clean after cleaning all of your fish.
