Gwinn Area Ice
« on: Mar 11, 2017, 09:20 AM »
How did the ice hold up in the thaw this past week? There was plenty of good ice in Gwinn two weekends ago but I have been out of town since. A friend of mine told me early in the week that there's "no more ice", but frankly I don't have any faith in that report. I'm heading back into town today and fishing tomorrow. Just hoping for someone to confirm that ice is still fine.

How did you do on Little Lake YoopHunter?

Two of us fished on the north side from around 4pm till after dark.   Marked quite a few lookers but few takers.   Pulled up a couple of 12" wallys and lost a couple more at the hole all right around primetime.   Couple of tipup flags tripped but nothing hooked.

It was fun....last walleye hurrah until May 15th!
