Chassell Bay.... anybody with ice shacks / shanties

I have not been to Chassell Bay for a week. With this warm weather coming up for the next week, is anybody pulling their permanent ice shack off the ice?

This morning was not bad going out.
Had to swim back in at 2;30.
4 nice crappy and 2 perch.
Suposta go tomorrow with DDW for free fishing weekend but we will see.

Wen do the new licenses for 2017 go on sale.

Are we going to be swimming if we try and fish the tournament this weekend? Any reports would be appreciated

I'm heading to Chassel on Sunday. Any update on ice condition and whats hitting would be appreciated.

ice is in great shape. did see a small pod of open water on the north end of the bay right by land as it makes the bend behind the weeds into the narrows, would probably be only a foot or two deep.

Caught 29 crappie on Friday.  Kept 14 and threw the rest back down the hole  for next time.  7 of the 14 were over 10 inches. There is 15 inches of solid ice where I was
