Fishing around Newton MA?
« on: Feb 14, 2017, 03:47 PM »
Hey guys. I am moving to Newton from central Mass in 2 weeks. I have spent my entire life north of Worcester. With plenty of great fishing and hunting. I am a little nervous about finding good spots to fish once I move.

If anybody can give me some tips it would be greatly appreciated.

Tight lines

If you specifically mean ice fishing, the pickings are slim as it was all of last year too. Some places to check are various coves on the Charles in Waltham. Even when lots of ponds are not safe, there always seems to be a cove with some safe ice. Heard's pond in Wayland might be worth a check too.  When it comes time for open water there are plenty of available options
