Prairie Du Chein area
« on: Jan 30, 2017, 04:06 PM »
Was wondering if anybody has been fishing on the river around the Prairie Du Chein area?  Am planning on making a trip over this weekend, and need to advice.  Thanks in advance

Fishing report from dnr says greymore is popular. Haven't talked to anyone that's been there I guess.

FYI there is an Ice Fisheree in Prairie du Chien this weekend. Lakeview Bar 3 miles north of PdC on Greymore lake  INFO http://www.guttenbergpress.com/articles/2017/01/30/67th-ice-fisheree

Most fish Greymore or Ambro slough but is fishing open to PdC area.

Between the bridges of marquette and PDC, there's a parking  area; go north of the road,  follow the tracks about 2 mi. Into Back water. My friends and I caught out limit last weekend.

Ive done that before too. Park between bridges and walked a few miles back and caught a ton. Just be careful where you walk.
