White perch and a Brown
« on: Jan 29, 2017, 05:41 PM »

I know this is not a hunting forum. I saw these 6 deer in the middle of a rural rd on the way to the pond.

Today was a slow day fishing fishing tip ups. We had 18 in the water and I was the only one to catch a Brown and 1 fat white perch. I also lost a heavy fish to a snapped 6 lb leader. It broke do to me pinching the split shot to tight. Duh! We did pretty good jigging right from the shack. As soon as the vex was turned on I instantly see activity go up and Bam!We caught a dozen decent whites and they made for a great fish fry.We also had venison sausage, bratwurst sandwich and pork chops. I'm do for a salad tomorrow.

That little hesitant one in the back would make some tender vittles on the ice. We also saw a few deer in our travels. But I can see why. The snow pack was crazy different once we got 15 miles north
