Jiffy Pro 4 oil
« on: Jan 04, 2017, 06:14 AM »
Will any 0w-40 synthetic oil work for the propane Jiffy Pro 4?  No local stores carry the Jiffy oil and it cost $15 through amazon.  I can get a quart for $8 at the local auto parts store.  Is there anything I may be missing?  Thanks

It will be fine. I found an old post on another forum back in 2010 and a rep at a show told a customer any 0W-40 synthetic oil will do.  This is why I saved my original bottle, so it could be used to measure the right amount.

Thanks. I set my original bottle aside as well for measuring purposes

yep that's what I'm doing.why buy a little bottle when I can buy it by the quart and use the original small bottle for a measuring cup.these augers are just plain ol 4 stroke engines that run on propane.
