Meredith derby report.

Fished the Meredith derby on Newfound Saturday. Didn't get out of Sunday due to the weather.

Two flags right away on smelt with nobody home. Then finally around noon, I got a nice 19.5 inch rainbow on a smelt with he jig rod on a arctic warrior. Then my buddy got one 2 hours later on a crawler on a trip up. Only one other flag after that.

Anybody have any luck up there from mass? I did manage to win a $100 cash drawing.

I fished squam lake....buddy in my group got second place white perch on Saturday.

Fished lil squam and had a yellow perch almost make the board on Saturday and a friend would have made the board for cusk on Sunday but would have eventually get knocked off. Overall it was a good weekend minus driving up in a blizzard and driving home in a blizzard. Love that derby!
