what is your favorite high visibility line for tite- lining  panfish. I have tried the orange ice magic and yellow stren in 2 and 3lb tests. looking for something brighter with good breaking strength to line diameter ratio.

have you thought about ditching the hi-vis line and go with a strike indicator instead?
take a look at frabill titanium wires. then you can go with a better line such as stroft gtm. it is a very small diameter line per pound/test.
if you need hi-vis, look into black lighting for it for night time fishing.

I got away from strike indicators thirty some years ago, and never looked back. just looking for a higher quality hi vis- line. thanks anyways for your response.

I play around with different things,a couple years ago I put 4 lb Sufix Elite Hi Vis yellow on (more chartreuse than yellow) on one jigging pole then added a short 3-4 foot leader on clear 2 lb test. I always straighten my line before I start fishing but the slight coils of the Hi Vis acted beautifully as a strike indicator. That line really shows up great against the ice and snow. I've used the orange but it turns invisible in the water. I'm a believer in spring bobber,but lining is a blast,there's absolutely no resistance,the fish can't feel anything,only one thing more fun sight fishing.

I have been using Solar Berkley Micro Ice 3# and liked it. But this year I am trying the Suffix Orange on my Schooley reels and CGI inline and like it as well.

I quit the Hi-vis lines after fishing with it in clear water. I watched a hi vis orange line with the same lure and setup get passed over on a camera time and time again only to watch the clear line get fish after fish. A noodle rod with a soft soft tip is my preference with clear line now.

That is the best way to decide, use things side by side. Most folks will tell you what they like. May not work for you.

I like Trilene's Micro Ice sonar with a fluorocarbon leader. Any movement in the bright green line is easy to see when the bite is light.

Have used the Sufix green in really clear water (15ft) in MI.for walleye's which can be really light biters. I noticed others around me catching them but we weren't doing very well. I was looking down the hole and noticed that my line would move to the side on a bite before the strike indicator would even move. Started to catch the them after that
