Smallest/Lightest/Cheapest pop-up on the mkt?
« on: Dec 28, 2016, 10:25 PM »
I already have a huge Clam (6 person) and a 1 man Clam Flip over, but there are some days (like today) where I need to go light to get to the right spot.  I'd love a small 1-2 person pop-up that would keep me out of the wind but allow the Mr. Buddy to make it comfortable.

Seems like Eskimo has a 2 person for $139, but I'm open to other suggestions.

I have the Eskimo Quick Fish 2 hub. Fits in a bag with back pack straps. Me and my 12 year old fish in it with a buddy heater and 2 depth finders. Works OK. But when we where tearing down to leave the hub was a bear to get back into the bag. The condensation from using the heater froze on the fabric making it stiff. Still worked great for fishing inside.

Thx - the quickfish 2 seems to be the best option.

It's funny what you said about the problems getting the shelter back in the bag.  We've all commented on how our bags need to be 6" longer and 4" wider to handle the shelters at the end of the day.

But why give us an extra $4 of fabric when they don't have to, right?
