Big Rapids or Reed City area.

Howdy all.
 
 Just wanted to get a report on the fishing action and ice conditions in this area.  Headed up to the cabin this weekend ( 02/17/2006).  Plan on wetting some lines for a couple of days and chilling out. So any information would be appreciated. Thanks for your time and information.

Chippewa is going fairly strong. Decent ice you can get on with snowmobiles & 4X4's. Start around the point across from the public access.
