Anyone been checking up on the northern end of the state? Seems like a lot of places were still locked up after the rain. Sat might be the only short window we get before the end of the year.

I am hoping to go check Wilson's after work today. Maybe get some hours in tomorrow before the snow changes.

Forecasting 3-5 inches into tomorrow morning.

Had a report out of Wilsons today that somebody was out on the hard water. Can not supply exact coordinate but the source is viable.

I am 80% in for giving it a go tomorrow at Wilsons..
It's either that or Bass Pro and Santa...

I heard 3-4 inches of ICE

If that 3 to 4 inches is accurate, it should I have another inch by tomorrow, assuming the predicted snow doesn't mess things up

Bowdish is very tight tonight. Scooted out 8-10 ft offshore. Didn't sink a chisel but gonna guess about 3 inches so far. No creakingvand groaning as I was moving around. Pick you spots and you can probably get out.

Test hole on Bowdish 300 yards from route 44. Showing 3-5 inches. Tight dark ice. Only in about 18" of water below the hole Very stable and Very slick.

The little there was built up in southern part of state pretty much got wiped out. Wardens was half iced with an inch or so with open pockets this a.m.. the 36 hours of cold before next warm up not gonna be enough down here

I'll be up at Bowdish tonight and sink a chisel to check it out. Not sure if it will hold at all with highs running in 40's this week but I'll give a report anyhow.

3 inches chiseled up at Bowdish. Pretty tight ice. Not sure I'd do any jumping up and down on it and I'm only 170lbs. Probably fishable not too far out. Be Careful out there! Still a little iffy.
