there was a thread a short while back where you guys were hashing out reviews of various boots. I can't find that thread now that I need it. I am looking at field and stream swamp trackers 1000 and the sportsman's guide wood creek 1000. opinions? dick's f&s are $80 and SG boots are $119.

You might also check out Baffin boots. Lots of models but I picked up a pair of Baffin evolutions and they're waterproof, very warm, and lightweight

I saw in today's Dick's Sporting Goods sale ad that they have some 1,000 gram boots on sale in your price range.

Love my Baffin Control Max. Never been cold in em and I'm a bucket sitter. Also comfortable enough to wear walking around (walked a couple miles the other night at a christmas light show) or to shovel snow etc.
