Ice is here to stay?

Hopefully the ice is here to stay, doesn't look like the forecast is going to let up anytime soon. I'd say the season is officially underway for me, caught this guy last weekend in southern Maine. Tight lines everyone, be safe.

NICE FISH! glad to see you guys are out....checked ice yesterday.....maybe 1" on a local pond....open in the middle
Looks like snow over the weekend turning to rain for Sunday and highs in the upper 40's Models are hinting ad a major warm up that could last into the new year....something to watch for sure

It's almost the same thing every year lately. Some earlier ice then warm, then some cold with a little snow here and then the "I can deal with a little snow as long as it's wicked cold for a week". Well here comes your warm spell. Stay smart about your pond choices and you will find ice from now till spring

I think it will be a good year. Maybe a bad week if we get a warm up, but it's off to a good start.
