Got out for 2.5hrs this morning on loughborough with bigbassmon. We set up in 90fow and marked fish right away. The second hole I tried my bait got down to about 40fow when a mark came racing off the bottom I started reeling and he smashed my tube at 28ft over 89. Good fight making multiple runs but eventually got this nice laker, 4lb 14oz.
We continued to fish our set of hole for the next couple hrs and marked more fish even had a few chasers and the odd fish nip at our baits but couldn't get any more to commit.
we fish approx 90fow and had 10-11 inches of half black half white ice. Bring cleats it was pretty slick out there.
