Great 2 trap day!

Had a great day today on Ossipee! Flags were flying steady until around 1:30 and then it slowed down. My 8 year old son took his first bow, and my buddy landed a nice 2.5 pounder as well. Lots of hit and spits and plenty of nice yellows.

Not a lot of pickerel this year which is strange.... We always get them at this spot. Got the bows in about 10-15 feet of water half way down with smelt. We were running like crazy midday.

I will try my luck with some pics when I build up the patience to give it a try.

The ice took a pounding today though..it was like late March out there .

Thanks guys! Kids had a blast. My 8 year old stood over that trap all day hoping to get another rainbow. He was focused. It makes you proud to see them excited about something other than video games. Flags were popping again today I hear, but I had to work.

Sounds awesome! I still remember those days when I was a kid fishing NH lakes and ponds with my uncle. So great.
