Went out bass fishing after work last night to knock a little cabin fever down, in the Triton. I managed 6 bass with 3 being keepers, but no big ones. We did accidentally snag two decent bluegill (I guess we needed the slip bobbers too). I caught all the bass on a silver/silver scale pattern Hoyer Blade bait. The fish were hitting very funny and lost at least 10. They were very hard to keep hooked. Four of the six I did land came off in the boat. I guess I wouldn't be too hungry either in 35.3 degree water. All the fish were caught in 9-11 feet. I may get one more afternoon tonight and it looks like a good possibilty of getting out to do a little jumbo perching on the ice. Although, I do like that the mild winter has kept my heating bill down with the high gas prices. God Bless and Good Fishin'
