What is your favorite lake and why? Just a fun post
I will start:
My favorite is yellow creek because I can catch 10-14 crappie all day and get good flag action on tip ups with bass and pike.

Marsh Creek state park when it's frozen. Close to home plenty of perch and crappies to keep you busy all day. And potential for bass or musky on tip ups.

Just getting started ice fishing. Live just a few miles from Hammond Lake where the state record crappie was caught. Do pretty good on the crappie in open water. Can't wait to get out there on hard water.

Well it used to be Lake Jean but just as we were getting nice perch they pulled the plug so for now it's Hunter lake (have a camp near Laporte)

I love to fish Lake Ryastown in Huntingdon county. But sometimes it tends to be hard to find ice some years. I also go to trusty Canoe creek for years of warmer weather. It is a small lake so tends to ice easily.

Kahle close to home small enough to freeze up early, hold good amount of fish.
