Nelson Pond

Anyone check Nelson this past weekend? Thinking of hitting it Saturday afternoon after work. I would guess that it has locked up as its small and sheltered, but any report would be helpful.

I'm visiting from CT next month and thought of trying Nelson.  I looked on google earth and saw a boat launch off some dirt roads is this the best way to get on.  Looks it's off of Nelson pond road?

Checked last night and there was already a shack out on the sunken island. ice looked pretty good drilled 2 test holes and will be heading tomorrow afternoon when I get out of work to chase the trout. Gonna set up tips and with the low wind forecast wander around with the vex and the jig stick.
