How do you build a Crank down
« on: Dec 22, 2005, 09:10 AM »
I have a 8x9 shanty already,  and i usually just drag it out on the ice behing the wheeler once its to the lake..  I have a 8x10 trailer that I put it on but that is a pain and thank god I only have to do it 2 times a yr(getting it on to go to the lake and then back on to get it off the lake)  I've seen a few post here on the crank downs w/ some pics,  and was wondering if any one would be willing to go into a little more detail on how to build them, and how they operate.   I want to up grade to a a 8x12 crankdown so I could go to more lakes and still have the luxury of a permanent shanty.

thanks.
