Fished it years ago.  Didn't manage to catch more than a few perch on any given trip.  Heard it's been fished pretty hard in the past and it's gone way down.  I would be wary of the ice conditions given how mild this winter has been.
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day.  Teach a man to ice fish and he'll sit on the ice and drink beer all weekend.

It is not safe this year yet.  Last week there were still areas of open water and with the weather this week I would wait until we get some cold weather.

A few of us had a friend who used to live on the lake - Neversink Jimmy. He used to hold a "Winter Ice Fishing Party" one a year there. Between 10-15 hard core ice anglers we would only manage a couple fish, and we "carpet bombed" the lake.

We fished Snyders for a few years and caught some nice perch. We liked it because it was close to home. We always parked on Tiffany Place a side road at end of lake. I never saw any trash. There was a small area that we use to cross to get on the lake. This year when we went back there was KEEP OUT signs across the whole area where we went on! Was just wondering if anyone knows why these signs popped up.

Snyders Lake technically has a public access ramp. Just no parking near it.   :(

Burden Lake and the Grafton lakes may be the better options (so long as they are safe)
