Auger Covers/Protectors

As of January 9, 2016, still NO ICE in Ohio.... but continue to ponder on improving the equipment.

Got tired of nearly slicing my fingers while trying to install or take off the black, rubber bungy cord strap to the cheap ice auger blade protector. (Nils 6" Orange Auger)

Just ordered the Ice Amour Snap Auger Protector.

It works great!  I have one for my 6" blue nils and it's a night and day difference. Wasn't too hard to improve on that little piece of junk they called a blade cover though...

  Cold Snap cover colored blue for Ice Team.    Once you get used to its orientation to the blade they go on easy.
