Was out at Chatty this morning. Ice was 6 inches thick from the swim beach. I fished the gravel pits with only one trout willing to bite. Moved to another location on the other side of the lake and ran into some crappie, perch and bluegill. A couple of good sized ones, but mostly small. Still fun to catch though. I would post pictures, but I'm not seeing that option on the reply screen.

Hear Rangers gave a couple guys tickets  for fishing in the tower    Well Mikey the other Friday then.  Don't care at least I got the Skunk off me for last day of the year.

Oh a little more 0n the tower fishing, Rumor has it, Asian guy, three hooks to his line....Ok,...moved inside the outlet, was hauling crappies and walleye up every drop some with two fish at a time, passing the fish to his lady to put in a cooler, trouble with that is walleyes were like 15 inches.  Good thing I didn't see that, especially when another guy told him he couldn't keep walleyes that size, and grabbed one and put in down a hole.  Asian guy was pissed.  He should have been unconscious by the time the 3 rangers got there.

Maybe its time to spray paint a red boundary on the ice, and NO FISHING inside it.

Just under 17.  Haven't gotten a keeper yet, but at least I'm catching
