I just had to do it... Last night I pulled out the Grumpy Old Men DVD.  :clap:

Great movie... As always a Great way to start ice fishing season! :icefish:

love that show....jack and walter...especially luv jack's dad....and what a great way to spend your twilite yrs....ice fishin and a possible hookup with ann Margaret...luv the scene where he tosses his catch under walters seat...what a classic....definitely gonna watch it this week...thanks for reminding me of the best popular ice fishin movie of all time....

also when ann Margaret throws walters prize walleye back...is frickin awesome...I am in my mid 40's....but I think this movie is timeless..good feel good classic entertainment....

I guess that's the Hollywood aspect of the show...ann Margaret riding on her sled....deciding on who she is gonna hook up with..Matthau or lemon....but you never know...lemon's..or matthaus'  "holy moley"...as he is I watchin her from the upstairs window is so classic...

One of the best movies ever.  I remember watching it for the first time and thinking that ice fishing looked fun, needless to say after the first time I was hooked.

Grumpy is when wake up at 4:00 drive three hours and the anger won't run there's two foot of fun white stuff on the ice and the tip of your pole is broke lol

I'm currently 19 and have loved this movie for as long as I can remember. My first ice fishing pole me and my dad constructed the green hornet which I have since retired as a shelf piece.

it is a classic and one for all ages. My 23 year old son wanted me to pay for us to watch it on demand over the weekend even though he has it on DVD at his place in Bozeman. MY now deceased father and his neighbor were identical twins for those two guys. Bitter enemies one minute and best friends the next.  Was touched by the neighbors comments to my deceased father as he left the funeral. I will keep those comments to myself because of the potential to offend someone, but needless to say it showed the true level of their friendship.

How about when Lemon takes the beer to his Ol man and Grampa pulls one off gives it to Lemon and keeps the rest of the six pack and closes the door??!! Priceless!!!  :)
