ATV HeadLights
« on: Dec 14, 2011, 03:47 PM »
So I picked up an older ATV with the headlight mounted under the handle bar above the front rack. You guys have any ideas of how I can remove that headlight and put headlights on the front of the ATV below the rack?
Work gets in the way of everything

leave that one and get some Fog or offroad lights (LED or otherwise) to mount upside-down to the bottom of the rack in the front?  ???

Or something along these lines...

I plan to install some additional driving/fog type LED lights on the auger carrier I made for the front rack, sounds kinda similar to what you are wanting?

Not enough ice or time... not necessarily in that order.

Go to your local cycle shop and look at the Parts Unlimited ATV or Street catalogs. There are several inexpensive universal mounts available. If you do not have a shop locally, email me ([email protected]) and I'll send you some info.

Spend some money, if you can, and get LED lights.  The Dually's or a 10" bar www.rigidindustries.co m

Simple, warrantied for life, and they turn night into day.

I have two front and two rear of the rectangular atv lights that hang below each corner of the racks by a ubolt.  Those with the regular headlight throw out a lot of light.  Have two switches mounted on the handle bars.

Google auxbeam.

Just as good as rigid at a fraction of the price.

Beware of auxbeam knockoffs though. If it doesn't say auxbeam on the front of the light it's a knockoff.

YouTube them to see the difference.
