So I don't know if anybody else has stumbled on to this, but it was suggested that I post it here. Over the weekend we had a little fish fry. Normally I just use an egg wash and either Louisiana Fish Fry or shore lunch. As it turns out, instead of milk in my egg wash I used egg nog. My son is drinking whole milk and beings its the holidays we also had a jug of egg nog and they both had red caps. It took me 3 days to realize my mistake and the whole time I was wondering why that batch of fried fish was the best I've had!
