Anglers Atlas
« on: Dec 18, 2015, 12:49 AM »
Hi all,
Just found a website that I though you all might find useful.
It's called "Anglers Atlas" and it has info on various lakes in SK., AB., BC. and OT. as well as other useful and interesting bits of info. :)

You can check it out at this link -----> http://www.anglersatlas.com/

To see the Northern & Southern SK. lakes listed, scroll down until you see the 2 on-line magazines, on the lower right hand side.

Maybe you will see info on one of the of the lakes you fish at. ;)

P.S. - The Southern SK. magazine even mentions IceShanty in it. ;D

Interesting link WW, good find and thanks for posting it!

I was just browsing through the Southern Saskatchewan magazine and it says on page 19 that Katepwa Lake is 75 meters deep in some spots according to the bathymetric map?  Seems awfully deep...

They meant 75 feet. :O)
Old fishermen never die, they just smell that way.

No problem guys.
I though you all might find it helpful. :)

Hopefully each issue they highlight new lakes, over time they would have quite a collection.

It was neat to see that they had Lady Lake.
I have never tried there myself, but hope to sometime this winter.

I was also a bit surprised how shallow Buffalo Pound Lake is, they say it's only 17 feet.
I thought it would be deeper than that since it's in a valley.
