Pull the boat out? Or crazy talk?

Never thought I would have to ask this question in December... But with the ice melting off most areas right as it was getting good, not many options out there. Was headed to Tiber this weekend but there's no way it'll have good ice.

So my question! Is it crazy to pull the boat out this weekend? Maybe go over to the gates? Any advice would be appreciated. I've never taken a boat out in these conditions but I was really hoping to chase some walleye and perch this weekend.

Any thoughts? Or should I just try some mountain lakes this weekend? Thanks and be safe everyone!!!

Locally it happens.  Out of area, always.  Sending resources to a moving MT wildfire in Dec., don't recall ever.

I'm thinking about taking the walleye boat out tomorrow since the ice is off the river.
