Closest place to catch ling?
« on: Dec 11, 2015, 07:39 PM »
What is the closest place to Cheyenne to get into a fair amount of libg?  Gorge?  I have never caught one before and would like to. I want to eat one.

How far north in the gorge can a guy get in to ling. it's already a 4 hour trip over there, so I don't want to drive too far off the interstate to find them. I see in the reports section that firehole produces good amounts.  Would this be my best bet, or can I go somewhere farther north?

There isn't really any access north of Firehole that I know of.  It isn't that bad of a drive from the highway to firehole.  It has produced well for me in the past.  Good luck.
