there was a good 8+ of ice on it over the weekend, i Havn't been out, but my dad has been a couple of times.  He posts under the name Russell, and only lives 2 minutes away.  Said he had some small bass lots of pickerel and ok perch action on Sat.

was going to go to otis-heard the edges were soft-will try russell tomorrow-thanks

the camoman. WOW, checked out the site and those were some impressive pics. IDK, if it was you or someone else but another forum, i said some bad stuff about Russel. I kno the part of the lake were yah took those pics but its a good 12 + feet of water there. if u could send me some info on your techniques there or maybe head out ice fishin there sometime in late febuary, that would be cool. i go with my scout troop and stay in the cabin across the lake. im not into Boy Scoutish stuff so my scoutmaster just lets me ice fish for the weekend. ttul. Dan

Just across from the boy scout beach area- heading toward the scout camp----medium shinners about 1 1/2 ft off the bottom.Thats about it.  Went there yesterday-very sloppy ice-like walking thru a slurppy from 7-eleven.--Caught some perch and pickerel.

went out on Russell Pond today with my dad(posts as russell on the board). 
fished right off the town beach on the far shore.
we had 5-6 of black ice, 3 inches of snow ice. 
got on the pond at 10am fished to about 2 with medium shiners.
caught 3 medium sized pickerel about 14-16 inch range.   
1 good sized perch.   
had a couple flags that we lost.
strong wind on the pond all day.

one other guy fishing down off the graveyard, not having much luck, couple perch.
