my thought would be save the money get a bait caster reel and buy a spiral wrapped custom rod...for what it worth there touchy some times and the drags are tough to use .... is what I have noticed from my no8 tackle company code blue in line reel. very touchy and drag is finicky lowering the lire is not as fast as it should be etc etc...  .. but every one is different it's just a suggestion ...  I am thinking the reel cost $99.99 is why I say get a cheap bait caster for like $30 and a custom rod for like $60-$80 if you can find some one to make you one for that price... by the way those reels were selling for $75  at gander mountain...

Bought 2 last year when Gander had a sale. Nice reels, denfinetly help with line twist but I have seen my jigs twisting around tying direct without using a swivel. Had the same thing happen with the Frabill and the Eagle Claw also.
The drag is touchy and takes a little getting use to, the free fall button on the handle has a tendency of getting pushed in occassionally when I wear gloves, just my own experiences.
Mine see double duty, I paired them up on 7' ultra light rods for dead sticking trout out of my boat. I like the reels, but the retail price tag is over priced IMO....maybe wait for a sale.

Just a heads up. From my experience, don't try to go with the cheaper brands. I tried the Wright and McGill eagle claw with the aluminum red spool......drag sucked and was jumpy. Tried a few other cheaper in lines  and the drags sucked. I found that paying the price for the higher end Black Betty reels was worth it to get the smooth drag. It's one of the few items where I found the price tag actually did resemble the level of quality to the product.
