 I never got on the ice yet this year, I was down with a sickness. Musta been the bird flu, or somethin. By the time I felt good enough to go it was too late. At 250Lb I just don't feel safe on the thin stuff. I pray for the cold to come, don't let me miss out this year. But realy, whats up with this weather? It's January, suposed to be cold.

You didn't see the special on the mini ice age on the History channel the other day eh? The mini ice age that lasted for 300 years starting in the 17th century was preceded by a warm up like we are experiencing. It was in full swing in less than a decade. After the warm up temps really plumeted!

I don't recall how long the warmup lasted but the cool down sure took a lot of folks by surprise. It came fast!
