A cold Bomoseen Derby

I know looking at the forecast 10 days out is iffy, but the forecast for the Bomoseen Derby is looking realy cold.   Fingers crossed that they have it wrong.

Yup, that's what I saw too! -14 below for Sat.! Going to have to start fire a couple days before! Brrrr!

coming up from jersey on Friday for the Bomo derby. Thinking twice about it. Can't even keep the holes open in those kind of temps. Plus -10 to -15 degrees and I don't have a shanty. I'm not a wimp but that's some nasty weather. But I'm sure i'll give it a try.

Don't have a gas auger either. Just a hand auger. OH BOY!!!!!!

If I see ya on the with a hand auger you can use my power auger! Most fisherman will offer the use if asked. You can park by green dump next to lake and use your vehicle as a shanty! Last year a guy took 3rd place in the bass category sitting there. We had about 18 inches of snow that day , had to use snowshoes! Ha
