No ice around that I would be willing to fish.   With the crazy cold coming, we just have to avoid moderate or worse levels snow on Monday

I was out on Lout pond in plymouth just before the storm. Over 6 inches of solid black ice. Can't imagin the snow hurt it too bad. It's an early freezer and usually late to break up. If you are unsure of the ice bring a chisel and punch small holes as you go..  I never hit the ice without it,,

I live over by the air base corner but I've been going to the grove on the back side of the swimming hole they got there and down the state park a lot but it's real slow going down there cuz of all the weeds I'm debating on weather To man up and go out today or not it's pretty ruff out today

Mopo has the biggest bass in the area, I have seen two 8.5 and one over 10 this year and this was on the west side.
I live on the Halifax end of west and most of the time I find it slow fishing, maybe the fishing is better at the Hanson  end by the outlet stream?

That where I've pulled in some monsters on the  west side down woodvine ave or something like that,, I haven't got over ten lbs Mark yet but many many in the 4-7 lbs rang with my biggest 9.11 large mouth and the biggest pickrel I've ever caught 6.14 last year through the ice  the thing was as big around as a soccer ball. I think the west side gets a lot of fishing pressure con the summer time I've heard the back of the cemetery on 106 is a good spot
