South end pond
« on: Jan 29, 2015, 03:37 PM »
I have not been there in a few years, usually good action, anyone willing to tell us how the fishing there has been.   must be over 12" inches of ice before the storm.

Thanks in advance for any info.

I haven't been in a couple of years myself after seeing the fish harvesters filling buckets of undersized fish.
Love those slab crappie, jumbo perch, and always love those bull sunfish. A.F.& A.M.

Used to live right down the street. It's a good place to fish in the summer, caught lots of hogs all around in there. Haven't been there this year but in the winter I always found the action pretty slow. Sometimes you can get on a school of perch or crappie but meh. There was supposed to be Keith's Derby going down Sunday I think, not sure if the snow has changed that.
