Racqette river/higley flow

I plan to fish on this coming weekend.How is ice condition and fishing for pike and walleys?How is Blake reservoir doing?Anybody catching any nice fish there?Where is the nearest bait and tackle to by shiners or suckers?Coming from far any help an direction will greatly appreciated.

If your planning a trip from far, dont mess around on the raquette river. Just being honest. It would be a waste of time. I would strongly consider a different system.

If you go I will be extremely curious to hear how you do!  I grew up camping at higley flow... loved that place.  Open water fishing wasn't the hottest but we never really targeted the typical hard water fish, just bass.  I'd go just for the throwback memories! Good luck tadeusz!
