Went out to a local pond yesterday morning, spent 5hrs on the ice, just wasn't happening, 2 flags no fish...
I've only fished the place once before from my boat 2yrs ago, the only fish (and only nibble) that day on the boat was a 4lb 3oz LM bass, then it started pouring rain...
Figured since it's only 10min away from home I'd get out there with a buddy and his 6" strikemaster... (I still don't have an auger so I have to plan to borrow or invite someone with one haha)
Oh well, better than sitting on the couch all day, we still had fun... I'll try it again when there's not much time to go since it's so close...
Was planning to go this weekend but got called into work Saturday and I was already scheduled to work Sunday... I'd rather make some $$ so I'll try to get out again next week...
