Has any one fished whiskey slew through the ice this year? How did you make out?

I have often thought about trying Waskesiu in the winter as well, typically do well there in the summer.  Where do people access the lake to fish?  I would like to try south bay one day in the winter.

South Bay? Mud creek?  Can't drive vehicles on the ice in the winter in the park.  Road to the narrows is maintained though winter. Could park anywhere along it and walk out.

No vehicles? What about Atv or sleds? Also you would need a park fishing license i assume?

Yes you need to purchase a park fishing license. Atv/sleds aren't allowed to be used with in the park.

Lake sees very little pressure durring hard water.
