hey guys, thanks for cheering me up!!  That's what I wanted to hear!!  Some are catching!!!  As for getting out, work and remodeling are taking a lot of the available time away, but It is nice to hear the bite is on at least somewhere!!  I don't want the location, just that they are being caught!!!  Good pics too!!! @)  It makes me wish I was out on a lake right now, stead of working!!!  Oh well!!!

"Limited out 3 weekends in a row. Public lake". 25 fish limit per day. 50 for the weekend. 150 over 3 weekends. You must be hungry. At what point do you have enough? :-\

Point well taken Ranger. I myself have kept enough for this year and am now in the catch and release mode. I keep fishing hoping to land one big enough to enter into the IS tourney.

Went out on Monday and had to fish a different spot than I hit 'em on Saturday 'cause folks were set up close to where I planned on going. Moved in closer to shore, found a little bottom stick up and dropped down a 3mm gold Fiskas with red and white spikes on it into 7' of water. Never fished that shallow of water before on the ice. For about an hour I was marking and catching 8-9" gills coming in at 4-5 ft. Ended up with a dozen on the ice and many smaller ones released. Like that kind of action, especially on a holiday ;)

Ponds I fish don't get enough pressure.   Some owners say throw little ones on the ice not back in.   I stop keeping when I don't want to clean anymore at that time.   Usually half a bucket.   C&R after that.   Talking bluegills,  don't keep bass unless feel it is over populated.
