Thanks Rick that was a rare good article. I like the part bout last hr light to 2hr into dark. Sounds like me who u won't catch on the ice at 10pm let alone 2am.

I might be the exception to the last hour until 2 hours after dark because we catch them at all hours throughout the night.

depends on the lake, been on chat. and pounded them thru the night and barley had bites on different crappie waters. Sometimes its great just before sun up too, like to start the days out ealry and had several fish on the ice before sunrise!!!
