BFT site is saying the Burbot Bash has been cancelled, due to unsafe conditions.  Not confirming, but just letting you know to check into it.

Do not be confused, the burbot classic, being held at Buckboard Marina is still on SO FAR.  The burbot bash has to do with Manila, UT.

I bet the classic get cancelled as well.  next week has up to mid 40's all week.  If that does happen the ice will be way worse than this week.

I know it must have been a hard decision by the bash folks to cancel after all the preparation.  But i firmly believe it was the right one given recent events

I hope the burbot classic gets canceled as well. Best case scenario is the rotten ice gets a fresh layer of new stuff on the bottom giving people a false sense of security.

and areas with no ice currently will have 3" by the time the classic rolls around......they should just call it off now.
