Has anyone tried used an open water fishfinder, like a Garmin 240 on the ice? Can't afford a Vex at present and I hate fishing blind. (Not as good as sum a ya 'ol timers
The Garmin has a flasher setting but I don't know if the LCD screen will be affected by the cold. Just trying to save some money by not buying a motorcycle battery if it doesn't work.
