« on: Jan 18, 2015, 07:30 PM »
Heading up this Friday for one day on Misery Bay ( about 2hrs for us ), so just looking for any help in fishing up there ( is the pike fishing any good? or mainly target panfish? )  Any advice appreciated! Tks.

It's mostly panfish once in awhile you will see a pike swim by..  Maggots and a jig is usually the bait of choice.  There is a bait shop on the right hand side before you go down the hill to the park named BAC.  You can pick up some minnows there if you want to try them.  Don't be afraid to try out the other parts of the bay if fishing is slow in misery.  The stink hole, third parking lot and the head of the bay can be other spots you can check out .

Thanks for the info!  We are deciding now which lakes to hit since we have fri/sat.  Always too little time!  Might try woodcock lake instead of misery but not sure yet.
